Dublin
The Republic of Ireland’s capital city, Dublin, is situated on the East Coast at the mouth of the River Liffey. This destination is full to the brim with historic buildings, city parks and an array of attractions you could spend a lifetime exploring.
Why not stay in one of the cities’ most luxurious hotels and pay a visit to the National Museum of Ireland? Followed by a tour at the world-famous Guinness Storehouse where you can take a shot at pouring your own perfect pint. If this doesn’t take your fancy, why not spend the day visiting the Christ Church Cathedral, followed by a meal in the Clontarf Castle’s Fahrenheit Grill. Fancy a day away in the country during your city-break? Travel an hour outside of Dublin and have a day in the Irish countryside.

Derry & Belfast
As Northern Ireland’s capital and largest city, Belfast has something to offer for everyone. Why not pay a visit to the birthplace of the world’s most famous ship? Or stop for a bit of fine-dining in the Cathedral Quarter? Alternatively, visitors can take a tour of Belfast’s top eateries and end the day exploring the Botanic Gardens and Ulster Museum in the University Quarter. Whether it’s adventure, culture, or a luxury experience you are searching for, Belfast has the means to cover all bases.
Derry, located on the West side of the River Foyle, is the only completely intact Walled City in Ireland. As a compact city, it is the perfect spot to catch a walking tour and explore the heritage by visiting the cathedrals, churches, iconic murals and grand architecture.
If you’ve heard of the popular TV show Derry Girls, you’ll be pleased to discover you can tour the city and stop off at the top filming landmarks. If you aren’t too tired by then, you can also follow the famous 17th Century walls that surround the city! The real question is, which walk would you do first?
The Ancient East
Discover a region brimming with over 5,000 years of unique history and charm. Ireland’s Ancient East is a tranquil and beautiful land of rolling green hills, charming towns and quiet waters, framed by the River Shannon and Irish Sea.
Ride the waves of the Irish sea in a boat trip across to Spike Island in Cork, once known as the world’s largest prison. Explore Dunmore Caves in Kilkenny and learn about the history and geology of the area. Take a trip to Glendalough Monastic Site, home to ancient ruins which includes two churches and a 30-metre high round tower. Or, walk in the footsteps of the Vikings through the narrow streets and medieval treasures of Waterford. If delving into the island’s history is more your cup of tea, this region has an array of spots where you can take a journey back in time and immerse yourself in historical scenery. With plenty of destinations a short distance away from Dublin and Cork airports, make The Ancient East your adventure playground.


The Wild Atlantic Way
This tourism trail on the West Coast is 1,600 miles in length and one of the longest defined coastal routes in the world. Passing through nine counties and three provinces, it is perfect for getting to know the stunning scenery and landscapes Ireland has to offer. Beginning on the Inishowen Peninsula in County Donegal, the trail goes through to Leitrim, Sligo, Mayo, Galway, Clare, Limerick and Kerry, finishing off in Kinsdale, County Cork. Spanning such a vast spectrum of Ireland, the possibilities for beautiful scenery and breathtaking experiences on this trail are endless.
