That’s right, Panoptic Events has a podcast!
We have been working on this in the background for a while, it started as an internal joke and all of a sudden one day the joke became very real. Now here is ‘The Event Makers’ Podcast.
What is it about?
We want to speak to all sorts of events professionals within the industry, get some great stories and share information that will be useful to others. As much as we want to educate ourselves, we also want to educate others and this is a great platform and opportunity to do just that.
Meet the hosts
‘The Event Makers’ is hosted by Craig McGee, and myself (Tarzan) from Panoptic Events. Craig is the Chief Events Officer and l am the Event Designer, we both have been in the events industry for many years and share a passion for hearing people’s stories and sharing them.
Who have we had on so far you may ask?
So far, we have accommodated a magician, a travel journalist and a Convention Bureau manager, with lots more planned and on the way.
Education is at the core of Panoptic Events
We have always had education at the core of what we do at Panoptic Events, and over the last year, we decided to focus even more on gaining and sharing knowledge with others within our industry.
On our Podcast, Our CEO Craig McGee has said that:
“We are Panoptic events, we have always had education at the core of what we do , and when the pandemic hit we decided to focus even more on the gaining, and sharing of this knowledge.
We looked at all of the interesting concepts across the world and started writing blogs and articles on linkedin. We reached out to suppliers in these other countries to keep up with their latest events and innovations.
New Social Media apps such as Clubhouse have been great for sharing the knowledge we are collecting, and our podcast is a natural extension of this.
We have also extensively shared E-books and learning tools, at the Resources page on the Panoptic Events Website.
We want to speak to all sorts of events professionals within the industry, hear some great stories and share them.
As much as we want to educate ourselves, we want to educate others.
We talk to innovators, the professionals, the trailblazers, the people leading, the fresh faces, overall the event makers.

Being the ‘Centre of Education’ is our goal
We would love to become a well recognised place for education and knowledge within the events and performing arts industries.
We always want to educate ourselves as much as possible and are loving this opportunity to pass on some of what we know and what we are hearing from others in the wider events industry.
