A Panoptic Experience Case Study
In 2015, Panoptic were awarded the Tender for Full Bar Production for the Galloway Country Fair. The bar was to be the main bar at the Festival site serving 30,000 attendees.
We oversaw creating the Tender document, sorting suppliers, structures and staff. Pitching and then delivering. Our vision was to create a real ale bar, with craft ciders and gins with reclaimed wood to build the bars, provide entertainment and music throughout and create a nice atmosphere. We then dressed this with nice lights.
Suppliers for Galloway Country Fair
We sorted out a number of suppliers. Perfect Parties, Edinburgh Gin, Jaw Brew and Thistly Cross Cider. The lead up to the festival took us to distilleries and breweries to learn how the drinks were made, thus giving our staff knowledge when pouring. We created a Bespoke cocktail menu for the festival. We also sourced Prosecco, ice and fruits. As well as this, we created an ‘Off Sale’ area in the main market space for Edinburgh Gin.
Panoptic Events X Galloway Country Fair
In advance of the Event, we arranged a room for staff training on licensing, created contracts and arranged all information to be readily available. Furniture as arranged and delivered to create an inside and outside area.
We then arranged DJs and Musicians to give the bar an atmosphere throughout the day. We created an experience inside a Marquee, with entertainment and furnishings to cater for a large movement of people. We also had an outside stretch tent that was furnished, so attendees had a place to relax outside.
Panoptic was instrumental in leading the project, ensuring all staff and suppliers arrived on site on time and then delivering the Bar as per original brief.
