Panoptic Events, renowned for their expertise in curating world class experiences, has announced the release of their first documentary, under their “The Event Makers” brand. The documentary provides an immersive exploration of Gran Canaria’s stunning landscapes and its unique appeal as a premier destination for events.

Titled “The Events Makers – Gran Canaria,” the documentary is set to captivate audiences with its stunning portrayal of the island’s diverse terrain. From the golden sands of Maspalomas to the rugged peaks of Roque Nublo, viewers will be taken on a cinematic journey through Gran Canaria’s picturesque landscapes, learning about the people, the culture, the food, and its potential as a dynamic setting for a wide range of events.

The Event Makers at Panoptic Events have carefully crafted this documentary to not only highlight the island’s natural beauty but also to underscore its versatility as an ideal backdrop for corporate events, conferences, and incentive travel. Gran Canaria’s unique blend of beaches, mountains, and urban spaces offers event planners a broad canvas on which to create truly memorable experiences and the team urges the MICE industry and those looking to book their next event to really consider Gran Canaria.

“We are delighted to release ‘The Event Makers – Gran Canaria’. It is a documentary that goes beyond the surface and delves into the heart of this extraordinary destination.” said Craig McGee, CEO for Panoptic Events. “Our goal is to showcase the island’s potential as an event haven, providing event planners and enthusiasts a glimpse into the diverse landscapes that make Gran Canaria an ideal setting for a wide array of events.”

Speaking on how The Event Makers brand came about at Panoptic, Craig says that “The Event Makers was created first and foremost to educate us as a team, then give a platform to allow others to let us know about their destination, in order to educate the wider industry. It is a project that has been with us for a number of years and  switched from Spotify over to Youtube in 2021. We have thoroughly enjoyed chatting to experts all over the world in the making of this.”

The documentary features a walk through the island with local expert, the incredible Sergio Maccanti of the Convention Bureau. Maccanti lives and breathes the island and knows it inside out. His stories and insights provide valuable perspectives on the logistical aspects and unique opportunities the island offers for creating unforgettable events which makes this documentary not only exciting to watch but a valuable resource for those looking to plan events on the island.

Maccanti had to say on working with Craig and making the documentary that “One of the things I have learned from this sector, which I entered more than fifteen years ago, is that doing things with passion is the key to excellence. To have had the opportunity to collaborate with fuelled-by-extraordinary-passion-for-events Craig McGee on this new chapter of The Event Makers has been a wonderful experience for me. I will always be grateful to this great professional with a cryptic Scottish accent (LOL) for giving me the opportunity to show the Panoptic Events audience some of the attributes that have made my beautiful island a great year-round event destination. Muchas gracias, Craig.”

“The Event Makers – Gran Canaria” is not only a visual feast but also a comprehensive guide for event planners seeking an extraordinary destination that seamlessly blends natural beauty with modern amenities. The Event Makers at Panoptic Events believe that Gran Canaria’s distinct charm and versatility will appeal to those looking for an event location that transcends traditional boundaries. It certainly opened our eyes.
