House for an Art Lover, Bellahouston.

Set within the magnificent grounds of Glasgow’s Bellahouston Park and inspired by the designs of Charles Rennie Mackintosh, House for an Art Lover combines art gallery and exhibition space, events venue, café, multipurpose artists studios and magnificent visitor attraction into one unique and inspiring venue. Originally designed by Mackintosh as an elegant country retreat for a person of taste and culture, today, more than 110 years later, House for an Art Lover exists to stimulate public interest in art, design and architecture. With a beautiful mixture of event spaces, this venue can offer 120 seated guests in the Mackintosh Suite, 80 in the Music Room and a further 70 in The View – they have all the space you need for your next intimate event.

The Corinthian Club, Merchant City

Capacity: 200 max. 

Located right in the heart of the city, ideally situated just steps away from Queen Street Rail Station, this beautiful listed building still retains much of its original character. With capacities of between 16-200 people, and truly show-stopping unique features such as the impressive wall art found in the Langley Room, your event will stand out from the crowd at this venue. Many of the rooms benefit from natural daylight and can be adjusted to your needs with in-room temperature controls and black-out facilities at your fingertips.

Òran Mór, Hillhead.

Capacity: 276 max. 

Situated in the trendy West End, Òran Mór is a truly unique venue as it comes with the beautiful celestial ceiling mural by Alasdair Grey – one of Scotland’s largest pieces of public art. The building is the site of the former Kelvinside Parish Church, and in 2002 refurbishment began on the transformation to the iconic venue it is known for today. There are three event spaces – The Auditorium, Gallery and Private Dining Room – available for hire for private parties or dinners, and with a capacity between 80-276 people, this venue can provide breathtaking photo opportunities for guests, no matter the size of your event.

Barras Art and Design (BAaD), Trongate.

Capacity: 600 max. 

BAaD is made up of a collection of spaces which includes a tropical courtyard oasis, a floating restaurant, comfortable places for wanderer, and a trapped container yard making BAaD the perfect place for an event as creative as you are. Glasgow Science Centre, Pacific Quay.

Located on the Clyde waterfront, Glasgow Science Centre’s iconic building of glass, titanium and steel provides an unforgettable backdrop for your event. With creative in-house catering and expert audio-visual technology, there is everything you could need to ensure the smooth delivery of your event – there’s even an iMax cinema! The venue has a variety of event spaces suitable for all kinds of layouts with differing capacities dependent on the event. Their largest space, the Atrium, has a capacity of 650 guests (reception style), whereas one of their smaller spaces, the Space Zone, has a capacity of 80 (reception style). Whether it’s one small room, a large space, or a mixture of both, Glasgow Science Centre comes with exceptional versatility.
