Dublin – Ireland’s capital! This incredible city is situated on the East Coast of Ireland and is full to the brim with historic buildings, city parks, and a vast array of attractions you could spend a lifetime exploring.

Dublin is surrounded by mountains and the great outdoors – with the Irish countryside and the Ancient East only a 30 minute drive away – and centred on the beautiful River Liffey. Full of vibrant art, historic buildings, hip cafes, and traditional Irish pubs, a walk along these old cobbled streets is a walk into over 1000 years of history.

With an adventure around every corner, Panoptic Events have put together our top picks of popular attractions and gastronomic experiences – perfect for an Irish getaway. Top Spots

You cannot visit Dublin without stopping at their infamous Guinness Storehouse. Located in St James’ Gate, you can experience the history, heart and soul of Ireland’s most iconic stout. The rooftop bar is also a must see – with a 360 degree panoramic view of Dublin’s skyline, it’s a view you won’t want to miss!

The Little Museum of Dublin is perfect if you’re looking to learn a little, or a lot, about the history of Dublin. With over 5000 artefacts on display, this impressive collection includes everything from a lectern used by JFK on his 1963 visit to Ireland and an entire room devoted to the history of U2!

Grafton Street is the unofficial centre of Dublin, with heaps of pubs, shops, and restaurants creating a bustling hive with side streets and alleys that are almost always full of people. Here you can find highlights such as Trinity College Dublin – Ireland’s most prestigious university and one of the most visited sites with over 2 million visitors per year – as well as Dublin Castle, now used by the Irish Government for functions and meetings. There’s so much going on you’ll be guaranteed to spend a whole day exploring this area, and still want to come back for more.
